Instead, Tonic brings the best talent on offer directly to you, with the professional convenience expected from a premium agency.
We offer a range of services to help you achieve your desired results: from wedding day hair and makeup at your home or hotel, to birthdays and formal appointments in our Prahran studio, as well as lessons and workshops, Tonic makes sure to deliver a fun, simple and seamless experience, every step of the way.

MONICA GINGOLD
Founder
Senior Hair & Makeup Artist
With over 16 years in the industry, Monica has worked her makeup magic on many A-list brands, events, celebrities and influencers. Monica is now one of the most sought after artists in the fashion and bridal industries, and is now a regular at Melbourne’s most exclusive events including Melbourne Fashion week, Brownlow, Spring Racing and beyond. Her skill of taking current trends and morphing them into relevant concepts is highly recognised, showing off creativity and strong attention to detail on the job.
Monica's vision for the agency started in 2017. When she had such a high demand for wedding bookings she couldn't fulfill, she knew she could still help all of these clients even if she couldn't be the one to do the hair and makeup for them.
Monica's strong relationships with fellow industry professionals led her to handpick and curate Tonic's team of truly talented artists, each of whom will provide you with an excellent service. Monica works closely with artists, mentoring them to develop their skills as artists and act as an advisor and problem solver. She is also dedicated to her office staff who work to build Tonic into a well oiled machine, ensuring clients have an easy experience when booking their hair and makeup.
Monica loves spending time with her little family - her son Brodie, husband Andrew (wedding musician), dog Cookie - and especially loves going on family holidays.
ABBIE ATTARD

Abbie joined Tonic with many years of experience working in PR and modeling agencies. As a senior model agent, she booked talent for high profile clients including Toni Matičevski, Maybelline New York, Myer and David Jones. As well as her flare for personal styling, she has a masters in marketing, and an undergrad in psychology. Abbie is the first point of call when booking with Tonic. Abbie responds to all our new enquiries, treating each booking individually and personally to match each client with the right artist for the job. Abbie loves the personal connection she has built with the team of artists, and loves being a part of each client's special day by helping them achieve their designed goals for the hair and makeup.
On top of her dedication to her job, Abbie is a shining light in the Tonic office, making everyone around her laugh while she lights up their day with her positive energy. Her joyful nature paired with her love for her job makes her a truly cherished member of the team. In her spare time, Abbie loves a coffee and a vino, watching Real Housewives and enjoying everything Melbourne life has to offer.

ALICE LAY

Alice is Tonic's all round organiser! With her Diploma of Human Resources behind her, and her experience in recruitment and management, her super organised nature and dedication to her job means nothing falls through the cracks, even when she is coordinating literally hundreds of wedding bookings at one time. On top of that, she is an absolute angel of a person, who is so kind and genuinely caring about her clients and artists. Alice's artists love working with her as she is so patient, understanding and accommodating to everyone's needs. Alice manages wedding schedules and coordinates the details between our clients and artists, and also manages our Prahran studio.
In her spare time, Alice loves spending time with her 2 beautiful Border Collies Lola and Lenny, and living her best life with her friends and family on the Mornington Peninsula. Alicer is getting married at the end of 2023, and is of course a Tonic bride too!

SIAN ARROW
Junior Booker
Sian is Tonic’s all round helper in the booking team. Whether she is creating proposals to send out to new clients, creating schedules for wedding days, or working on our social media, Sian has a hand in all areas of the business. She is currently studying Business Marketing at RMIT, feeding her love of business, fueling her creativity and developing her skills and knowledge to help her future endeavors. Sian loves her role at Tonic as she loves working as part of her team with her colleagues who have all become close working together. Sian has been with Tonic since its first year and has loved to see how much the business has grown in a short time, and has played an integral role in that process.
In her spare time, Sian loves to travel, learning more about beauty and makeup, and seeing friends and enjoying Melbourne social life.
