WHO ARE WE
Tonic Agency is Melbourne’s leading hair and makeup agency for weddings, events, studio, workshops and commercial bookings. Our small, all female booking team represents a large group of hair and makeup artists, managing their bookings and calendar, and organising jobs on their behalf.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a highly organised, creative and proactive individual to join our team as a Social Media Coordinator & Booking Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, working in a small team, has a passion for beauty, events, and weddings, and loves digital marketing and administration.
You’ll be responsible for curating, scheduling, posting, and creating content across our Instagram and TikTok accounts, while also supporting our senior team with day-to-day admin tasks. If you're passionate about social media, confident in front (or behind) the camera, love all things weddings and beauty, and ready to help elevate our online presence, we want to hear from you!

Currently studying Marketing, Graphic Design, PR or Business

Experience with social media scheduling tools, and Canva/Photoshop/Illustrator
-
Previous admin, content creation or graphic design experience is beneficial but not required.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATION
-
Lead the content creation, planning, and scheduling across Instagram and TikTok to ensure a consistent and engaging social presence.

Create engaging posts aligned with brand tone and visual identity

Maintain the content and marketing calendar
-
Engage with our online audience to grow our community

Support branding, design and broader marketing initiatives

Manage the setup and execution of paid Meta ads (bonus if experienced!)
BOOKING & ADMIN SUPPORT

Assist the admin team with bookings and client coordination
-
Prepare proposals and schedules for clients and artists
-
Monitor, manage and respond to Google reviews in a timely and professional manner
