Can I book with my friends?Absolutely! We usually have multiple artists available at our studio, so appointments can be booked around the same time. If you can't find the time you need, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate.

Does my makeup application include lashes?Yes! All makeup applications include lashes. Most of our artists use individual lashes, so if you choose to have lashes applied, your artist can make it as natural or full as you like.

Do you hold larger group bookings?We love welcoming large group bookings—especially for special events! It’s the perfect way to get everyone involved, have fun, and enjoy the glam experience together. For groups of more than four people, please email us directly so we can help coordinate your booking.

Can I have my bridal booking at Tonic Studio?We love welcoming brides into our studio! However, as it’s a shared space, we recommend our mobile service for bridal parties larger than two. For solo and our low-key brides, you’ll be in excellent hands—every one of our studio artists is highly experienced in bridal hair and makeup.

Can I have my bridal trial at Tonic Studio?As each of our artists is individually represented, trial locations will vary depending on where they’re based, as well as their availability and preference. If you’re planning to have your bridal hair and makeup done at the studio, please email us directly to coordinate your trial, as this is booked separately from our regular studio appointments.

Do you offer a hair-washing service?Unfortunately, our hair styling does not offer a washing service. However, if you would like a blow-wave style, our artists can wet down your hair at the start of your appointment to still achieve a fresh blow-wave style.

How do I prepare for my hair appointment?We ask that you please wash your hair the night before your appointment and blow-dry your hair smooth. It is encouraged to wash your hair twice with shampoo and ensure no product is applied afterwards. This makes the hair much easier to work with to ensure your stylist achieves a beautiful style you are after. If you have curly hair or have hair extensions, please email us directly so we can advise and allocate additional time if needed.

How do I prepare for my makeup appointment?If you can please come with a freshly cleansed face and apply your usual skin care. If you're not able to do this beforehand, our artists will be able to remove the previous makeup applied.

What is your cancellation policy?CANCELLATION POLICY: STUDIO BOOKINGS You will be required to enter your credit card details at the time of booking. If you notify us that you can no longer attend your appointment prior to 72 hours of your booking, we can reschedule or provide a credit note valid for 6 months. Alternatively, if you wish to cancel, a refund will be issued to your original payment method. If you notify us that you can no longer attend your appointment prior to 48 hours of your booking, we can offer to reschedule or provide a credit note valid for 6 months with no additional fees. If you notify us that you can no longer attend your appointment within 48 hours of your booking, you will forfeit the full amount paid for your booking. Studio credits are valid for 6 months from the date of cancellation and cannot be redeemed towards other services booked, such as weddings or trials. If you become unwell, please try and provide us with as much notice as possible. Depending on the circumstances, we will do our best to accommodate you. · CANCELLATION POLICY: RACES STUDIO BOOKINGS During the race period, Saturday the 1st of November – Saturday the 8th of November 2025, please note that there will be no refunds or credits issued for all studio bookings. You are welcome to transfer your booking to someone else to be used on the date and time booked only. Any bookings prior to November 1st 2025, and after Saturday 8th November 2025, our usual studio cancellation policy will apply. Please understand this is our busiest week of the year, with multiple artists and appointments each day that need careful management. We are not able to swap or change appointment dates or times during this period.
