Casey​ // Hair & Makeup

Casey is a highly experienced and sought after hair and makeup artist in the bridal and fashion industries. Her makeup style has been described as beautifully versatile, and can be seen throughout Australian media including Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, The Age, and Polka Dot Bride. Casey has worked with celebrity clients including Bec Judd and Sophie Monk, and worked with Australian and International fashion industry leaders such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Roberto Cavalli, Alex Perry, Toni Maticevksi, Dion Lee, and Rachel Gilbert. She has worked at fashion events including Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, TV Week Logie Awards, The Brownlow Medal and fashion launches for David Jones, Myer and Kookai. Casey understands the importance of feeling comfortable, relaxed and beautiful on your wedding day. It’s about looking like you; the best version of you. Claire​ // Makeup
Claire started her career in the fashion and beauty industry initially by working as a model, and then studying a fashion business degree, until eventually pursuing her true passion for makeup. After completing her makeup studies, Claire worked as a colour specialist at Mecca, and worked under top beauty brands; Hourglass and By Terry. Claire has now been freelancing full time for the past 3 years specialising in bridal, special occasion and editorial makeup. Some of her clients include MSO, Abode, Base Supply, Melbourne Vixens, and The Upstyler. Having the experience of being in the makeup chair on a regular basis as a model, Claire understands the importance of having a makeup artist who is reassuring, calm and personable. Claire’s approach to her clients is gentle and warm, and she delivers beautiful makeups which make her clients feel elevated, enhanced and beautiful. She loves working with women in a way that supports self care and nurturing the physical self, by giving them a personalised and bespoke makeup service.


Eleanna​ // Makeup

Eleanna started her working life in advertising, but her heart was always in beauty. After seeing fellow Tonic artist, Kim working on a commercial shoot for an advertising client, she was inspired to pursue a new career. Eleanna trained in makeup, and soon after left her job to work at Mecca as a Colour Specialist. Mecca provided Eleanna with strong product knowledge, and she began assisting some of Melbourne’s busiest makeup artists, developing her skills in bridal, event and editorial makeup and hair. Since then, Elly has trained in hair, and her work has been featured in many magazines including Ivory Tribe. Eleanna says "My favourite part of the job is that I get to do something that I'm truly passionate about. I love making people look and feel their best, it's such a rewarding part of the job. It's so gratifying when someone leaves my chair with a burst of confidence and excitement to go about their day looking and feeling like the best version of themselves." Elly takes a collaborative approach by asking the right questions to create a bespoke look that helps her clients achieve their goals. Elly’s clients love her calming presence and her ability to really listen to their needs and translate that into beautiful, clean and effortless makeup, which has made her a popular choice for her many return clients. Elly is available for makeup bookings from the Tonic studio and for mobile services for events and weddings.
Ellie​ // Makeup

Ellie’s love for all things makeup has been a part of her identity for as long as she can remember. After excelling as an art and design student during her Bachelor of Communication and Design, she focused every assignment around makeup, beauty and cosmetics. Ellie met industry leader and makeup super-guru Rae Morris at a makeup expo where Ellie showed her one of her university assignments, and Rae invited her to be her assistant at Fashion Week. There she made new relationships and connections with artists including Monica Gingold (Tonic co-founder) and Sarah Laidlaw. Sarah took over directing makeup for Fashion Week and invited Ellie back as her main assistant in 2019 and 2020. Ellie worked at Bobby Brown where she gained experience in working with clients of all ages, skin tones and skin types. After meeting fellow Tonic artist Vanessa, Ellie started working in the hair and makeup department on Neighbours TV series. Ellie was a finalist and runner up for the MAGAP New Force Emerging Talent Award. Ellie says ‘ I absolutely love making clients happy and feeling like their very best self, it gives me so much joy.’ Ellie creates beautiful, natural and enhancing makeup looks for all her clients, and her bubbly and joyful energy makes her so much fun to have around. Ellie is one to watch as her career will no doubt continue to grow and excel.

Eloise has always had a passion for makeup and hair, which led her to undertake a Diploma of Specialist Makeup Services and a Certificate Three in Hairdressing, earning the Industry Choice Award for her final assessment. Eloise has been a favourite in the bridal industry since 2016 and has been recognised in the Brides Choice Awards, earning Top 5 in 2020 and Top 2 in 2021.  As well as brides, Eloiuse has provided makeup for Miss Universe Australia, Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival, Beauty Expo as well as many brands including Cotton On. Eloise specialises in natural and soft glam makeup with a focus on skin, but can easily adapt her style to whatever her client needs. She loves working with colour and creating bold looks, while still being recognised for flawless, natural makeups.  Eloise’s aim is to enhance the natural beauty of each client and make them feel like the best version of themselves.

Giuliana joins Tonic as a Melbourne-based makeup artist with a great love and obsession with all things beauty. A creative at heart, forever drawing, painting and making, Giuliana began her career in architecture before eventually pursuing her passion for makeup artistry and launching her freelance career.  Specialising in bridal and event makeup, Giuliana’s style is fresh, flawless and radiant translating impeccably both in person and behind the lens. Giuliana’s makeup and beauty philosophy is centred around celebrating and enhancing ones natural beauty. With her friendly calm manner, she loves collaborating and working with her clients to ensure they leave her chair feeling the most special, most confident version of themselves. 

Holly​ // Hair & Makeup

After completing her Make Up Diploma, Melbourne Make Up Artist, Holly Harnwell jumped straight into the industry assisting highly sort after makeup artists to gain as much experience and knowledge as possible to make herself one of the best in the industry. Today, working seamlessly through the makeup industry from bridal to editorial, Holly is working successfully as a full time makeup artist. Her work stands out as natural, blended to perfection, and she can adapt her style from beautifully subtle to bold and striking looks. Her strong work ethic and positive, uplifting energy gives her a great advantage to building strong relationships within the industry and a steady, loyal clientele. Her passion and drive for making people look and feel like the best version of themselves ensures that every job is done to perfection and with great attention to detail.

Ingrid​ // Hair & Makeup

Ingrid started her makeup career after studying a Diploma at Swinburne and then working for Clinique, Mac, Bobbie Brown and Mecca with a combined 12+ years experience across all the brands. As well as working at Fashion Week with MAC under Amber D and Pinkie, Ingrid has also worked on fashion shows for Myer and David Jones, and been involved in numerous events for Armani Beauty and Nars, as well as painting the faces of VIPs Lindy Rama-Ellis, and Sophie Monk. Ingrid's style is fresh and glowing, and she strives to bring out the best features of each client. She understands how intimidating makeup can be and wants her clients to feel comfortable, relaxed and walk away feeling the best version of themselves. Ingrid says 'Being a Hair and Makeup artist is the most incredible and honourable job, I can change the way someone feels about themselves and also educate them on how to recreate that feeling at home everyday!' Ingrid joins Tonic as a valued member of the team, performing both hair and makeup services for weddings and events. Her background in education led her running Tonic's workshops where she shares her passion for makeup by empowering her clients to achieve their goals themselves.
